![]() ![]() What about DC Comics movies' chronological order? Easy peasy. ![]() (While we've got you, were you looking for Star Wars' timeline? We've got that covered. It'll make sense when you see it, honest. We've put together a comprehensive guide of the best order to watch the movies in, even taking the timeline divergence into account. X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)- Apocalypse, the most powerful mutant in the universe, tries to destroy all of mankind. Same goes for The New Mutants which is pretty separate to anything that's come before. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) - The unstoppable characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves in an epic struggle to change the past and save our future. X-Men are turned against one another, and at some point this happens. Given how they mess about with time, you could watch the two Deadpool movies in either timeline though. As the trailer indicates, the X-Men will find themselves up against the most powerful villain yet, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), who holds the key to their origins. Thanks to X-Men: Days of Future Past, there are two timelines in the overall series, so unless you want to have a two-screen setup, you'll probably have to run through with one timeline, before looping back on yourself for the other timeline. If you want to be truly dedicated and watch in chronological order though, it's not the easiest task. You could choose to watch the series in release date order, which would be pretty simple and straightforward.
